UW-ISyE Professor Robert Radwin will be the Principal Investigator on a new grant, “A Computer Vision Lifting Monitor”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In collaboration with colleagues Yu Hen Hu from the UW-Madison Department of ECE, and Yin Li and Guanhua Chen from the UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, Radwin will work to create a computer vision risk model for manual lifting and incorporate it into a prototype instrument. The instrument will then be evaluated in the field by colleagues from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Utah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The grant is funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
