If you’re an undergraduate engineering student, then we’ve assigned you an academic advisor. That person supports you in a variety of ways, including:<\/p>\n
You can meet with advisors throughout the semesters and even on breaks! You can find your advisor in your MyUW<\/a> Student Center and make an appointment using Starfish.<\/p>\n<\/div> Advising for you as a freshman undergraduate student is especially important. Your advisor helps you become familiar with specific first-year requirements, explore engineering majors, and make sure you have the support you need during this big transition.<\/p>\n<\/div> Advisors also help you navigate official regulations related to your enrollment, scholarship and graduation.<\/p>\n Academics are important throughout your engineering career, so remember you\u2019ll need to meet\u00a0progression requirements\u00a0to continue advancing through your educational program.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\r\n \r\n <\/div>\r\n
